Gdynia [ˈɡdɨɲa] (Kashubian: Gdiniô) is a city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland and an important seaport of Gdańsk Bay on the south coast of the Baltic Sea.
Located in Kashubia in Eastern Pomerania, Gdynia is part of a conurbation with the spa town of Sopot, the city of Gdańsk and suburban communities, which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity (Trójmiasto), with a population of over a million people.
The area of the later city of Gdynia shared its history with Pomerelia (Eastern Pomerania); in prehistoric times it was the center of Oksywie culture; it was later populated by Slavs with some Baltic Prussian influences.
Gdynia is a Polish parliamentary constituency in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It elects fourteen members of the Sejm and three members of the Senate.
The district has the number '26' for elections to the Sejm and '25' for elections to the Senate and is named after the city of Gdynia. It includes the counties of Bytów, Chojnice, Człuchów, Kartuzy, Kościerzyna, Lębork, Puck, Słupsk, and Wejherowo, and the city counties of Gdynia and Słupsk.
Here I stand a broken man
Broken dreams slipped trough my hands
What once was is now gone
I can't go on, I am done
Last call
Last change to make things right
Pick up the pieces and mend my life
But how can I heal a broken trust
It feels so hard, it rips my guts
